I'm Ann Mathews. For more than 35 years I’ve helped businesses run better—from the inside out. I specialize in solving operational challenges, building systems where none exist, and restoring order where things aren’t working quite right. Whether a process has completely gone off the rails—or something just feels stuck, clunky, or incomplete—I bring structure, insight, and calm to help businesses run more smoothly.
I have roots in Iowa, Hawaii, and Colorado. All of them influenced my perspective and determined my mindset. Hawaii, in particular, formed the lens through which I see the world and shaped how I approach people and problems. The Hawaiian concept of kokua means more than help and support; it’s about cooperation, respect, and coming together to meet a need. That’s the spirit I bring to every engagement with Kokua Colorado.

I’ve worked across industries—telecom, cable, publishing, entertainment, nonprofit, advertising, trade shows and beyond—and what I’ve learned is this: operations is operations. The specifics may change, but the need for thoughtful systems, aligned processes, and clear execution is universal.
